4 Chicken Legs
250g Potato | peeled and quartered
Heat 4 Tbs oil in a pan and add 100g onion (chopped fine), sauté for 2 minutes. Add 2 cardamom pods slightly split, 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder, 1 Tbs yemeni spice —hawaij, mix well stir fry for 1 minute. Add the chicken legs with fleshy side down and fry for 2 minutes. Press the legs down with the back of a spoon so that a larger surface is touching the pan. Turn the legs and do the same for the other side. Add the potatoes and mix and sautéed for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup chicken stock, salt (to taste) and ½ tsp black pepper powder, mix well and bring to boil. Lower heat lowest and cook covered for 15 minutes.
