Step2
Heat 1 Tbs cooking oil in a karahi and add ½ tsp mustard seed, and when it starts to pop, add 6 curry leaf and 150g onion (chopped fine). Sauté for 2 minutes. Add the cooking paste—from Step1—and cook on medium heat till the oil starts to separate. Lower heat and add 3 tsp dapoli lal masala and lightly stir fry for 1 minute. Add 3 cups of water, salt (to taste), the mashed potato and stir for about a minute till the contents of the karahi are well blended. Add the drumstick pieces and cook for 15 minutes or till done. Add the prawns and cook for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and keep the karahi covered for 5 minutes before serving.
